Artistic Influences:
I started going to draw the paintings in the Metropolitan Museum of Art when I lived in NY in the 80s, a practice I continued in Europe later on. It is that practice that gave me an understanding of the formal aspects such as colour and composition that are combined with a contemporary vision influenced by not only modern and post-modern art, but film, photography, pulp fiction covers and pop-culture.
