I like to think of my art work as connected to history, yet personal and current in time and place. It's how I see things, with enough left unsaid. I work with a variety of media, hoping to engage the viewer with many sensations. My "Uniformed" series stems from my parochial school upbringing and working for three decades in the field of nursing. I typically produce art works in series on topics ranging from dogs, politics, landscapes and abstracts.
RECENT PUBLICATIONS: 2010 Edition Hardcover 'Nursing the Finest Art' by Patricia Donahue. Others include Front Cover AJN magazine, San Diego Home and Garden, San Diego Evening Tribune. National Museum of Women In The Arts museum's library and research center archives.
