Artist Statement:
Sharilyn Neidhardt is a painter living and working in Brooklyn. She's exhibited work all over the country and regularly participates in Bushwick Open Studios. Ms Neidhardt works in both oils and watercolors. Much of her work is inspired by her experience as a photojournalist and a paintmaker. She finds inspiration in everything from the front pages of the newspaper to the latest images in her instagram feed. Sharilyn is an enthusiastic cyclist, obsessed with Chinese food, and speaks only a little German. Keanu Reeves once lit a cigarette for her.
