Artistic Influences:
My biggest influence is my environment. I live in a beautiful part of the world, the West of Ireland, where everyday is visually different. Here I can absorb and be inspired by the works of many artists. The impressionists with their use of colour and atmosphere and the realism of the Romantics...I consider myself to be a contemporary artist driven by current trends and ideals, but my work will always give a nod to the classics.
