I'm Melanie Renshaw, and my love for art has been with me since childhood. My creative talents were nurtured by my mother, whose paintings and drawings were a source of inspiration during my early years.

When I begin a painting, I don't engage in conscious thought and instead allow my emotions to guide me. This is the driving force behind my abstract art, resulting in creations with a blend of balance, movement and vibrant colours.

Vincent van Gogh holds a special place in my heart as my favorite artist for several compelling reasons. His work conveys deep and raw emotions and through his vibrant and expressive brushwork his paintings resonate with me on a profound level. Van Gogh's dedication to his craft and relentless pursuit of self-expression, even in the face of personal challenges, serves as an inspiration for my own artistic journey. He is a favourite of art enthusiasts like me and his paintings are timeless and reflect themes and feelings that are still relevant today.
