Composing artworks for me almost is a philosophic question in transferring my thoughts in a sort of metaphor representations. These developments help me to transfer my thoughts into strong and compassing images. As I said: my projects are almost always people – related for instance “in the land of my fathers” where I tried to answer questions as “who are we, were do we come from, and where are we going to after our life on earth”. With our own cultural in mind for me it was not possible to find an suitable answer, but studying African cultures brought me to an appropriate answer. Therefore I mixed different cultures in my images. The same sort of procedure I followed in “the discovery of heaven” where I combine our cultural thoughts with that of scientists.

Photographic Art at fotovakschool Apeldoorn and after my graduation I worked several years in fashion photography and made portraits for illustrations ; in the same time I worked on my free photographic art portfolio what became more and more important for me. When photoshop came in I felt saved; I could make what I wanted in my art-language, In 2008 I won an important professional artprize and that for me was the start of my art-career.
