Artist Statement:
I am a visual explorer, searching the world’s main streets and back roads with relentless curiosity and wanderlust to create photographic art from the people and places that inspire me. I see what lies beneath an obvious surface focusing instead on a reflection or hidden aspect to narrate a story. I often create photographic contrasts, such as juxtaposing vintage items with current pop culture.
My art has been exhibited in group shows across New England including the Brush Art Gallery, Cambridge Art Association, Danforth Museum of Art, and Galatea Fine Arts. In 2010, I was one of 12 artists selected for Exposure, the 15th annual PRC Juried Exhibition. My work has also been featured in the four-artist show, Connections, at the Maine Media Gallery. In addition, my work is held in the permanent art collection of the Bernardi Auto Group.
